What facilities are required?

• Trailers - IGLOOS® trailers are all self-sufficient, requiring no connection other than a power supply from either the mains (13 amps per trailer) or a generator (16 amps per trailer). A water supply on standby is recommended to replenish the hand basins during heavy usage. Some units may be connected to the mains drainage and water supplies for longer term hire. The site should be level with good access for delivery with a Land Rover taking into account any turning circle
• MODUVAC^® - A constant power supply for installation and during the event - quantity varies according to quantity of stock. A constant fresh water supply with good pressure for installation and during the event is required with our Moduvac range. The fresh water is necessary for both the hand basins and loo pans. Our equipment is delivered on an articulated lorry so access should be ensured for the vehicle and forklift access into structure. If required inside walls/linings should be provided by the client. If loos required outside we also have external MODUVAC^®.
• Panelled - The Panelled loos need to be installed inside a building or structure. Constant power supply is required for installation and during the event which varies according to the quantity of stock. A constant fresh water supply with good pressure for installation and during the event is required. The fresh water is necessary for both the hand basins and loo pans. Waste is either collected in vacuum tanks or the system is plumbed into the mains drainage.

Do I need to provide any water?

The trailers arrive on site fully loaded with water, however a water supply on standby is recommended. The MODUVAC^® and Panelled both require a constant fresh water supply for both the hand basins and loo pans.

Do I need to provide electricity?

Do I need to provide drainage?

Longer term hire using MODUVAC^® or Panelled will require access to drainage system.

Can you provide an attendant service?

IGLOOS^® can provide an attendant or a technician to be on site for your whole event if required at an extra charge.

Will the loos need servicing?

This will depend upon the number of guests and the duration of your event; this can be discussed at the time of your booking enquiry. For typical events lasting up to 8 hours the loos will not require any servicing. Servicing may be required on site if your event lasts more than one day or a large number of guests.

Can the loos be situated in a marquee?

The MODUVAC^® and Panelled products can both be situated within marquees, Panelled can be built into any marquee structure and MODUVAC^® will be lifted in using a forklift truck, in this situation the waste tank would have to be situated outside the marquee.

What access will you need to the site?

When will the loos be deilvered?

Delivery and collection is Mon-Fri, times will depend on the size and length of the event as to how long the crew will require to set up. This will generally be a few days before your event.

Can I have a weekend delivery and collection slot?

If requested by the client it is possible to have a weekend day delivery and collection slot, however this will be charged at £50 extra per trailer hired per day. If IGLOOS^® request to deliver or collect on a weekend day there will be no extra charge for the client.

How can I arrange a site visit?

A site visit will be organised if our sales team or the event organiser thinks it is necessary before the suitability of the loos can be determined.
